Maintenance Checks All Year Long

While some maintenance can (in many cases) be attended to on a seasonal basis, here are a few items that should receive regular maintenance throughout the entire year:

1. Visible Leaks
2. Door Closers, Latches, Hinges, and Locks
3. Window Glass, Tracks, and Other Hardware
4. Any Signs of Rodent or Pest Infestations
5. Filters for HVAC and Water Systems
6. Fire Alarm Batteries, Fire Suppression Systems, and Fire Extinguishers
7. Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Detector Batteries
8. OSHA Fall Prevention Devices/Equipment
And, of course, schedule regular inspections for the building’s roof and envelope.
